Privacy notice

Last updated 12 Oct 2026

flatlas.sg has no accounts, no adverts and no third-party trackers, and sets no cookies. It counts how the site is used, anonymously, so it can tell which features help and fix what does not. You can switch that off.

Usage counts

When you use the map or a tool, your browser sends short notes such as "opened a block", "switched to rent", "reached step 4 of the buying guide" or "the panel was open for 40 seconds" (including which block, street or town it was about), together with: a random ID your browser makes up and keeps in its own storage (it says nothing about who you are and is not linked to any account), the kind of device (phone, tablet or desktop), the browser family, the map settings in use, and the website you came from (its domain only).

Never collected: your IP address, name or email, and nothing you type into a calculator or the buying guide — income, age, CPF savings, prices, valuations or dates stay in your browser.

These notes are deleted automatically after 18 months.

Feedback you send

The feedback form sends your message, the page or block you were looking at, and an email address only if you give one for a reply. It is stored separately from the usage counts and is never linked to them. The email is used only to reply to you. Feedback is deleted automatically after 12 months.

Server records

Requests for map data are logged so that loading errors can be traced. The IP address in those logs is shortened (an address like 203.0.113.42 is kept as 203.0.0.0), so it cannot single out a device, and the logs are overwritten as new ones arrive. To stop abuse, the server counts requests per IP address in memory for about a minute; that count is never written down.

Kept only in your browser

Blocks you save, your colour-scheme choice, the size of the phone panel, whether you have seen the tour, and your answers in the buying guide are kept in your browser's storage and are never sent to the site. Clearing your browser's site data removes them.

Opting out

Tick Don't count my visits on this browser in the map's About panel (ⓘ), or open this link. Either also deletes the random ID. To be counted again, untick it or open this link. If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal, your visits are not counted.
